Eg: If I type in 100, can I get 100? If not, can we force the user to choose from a pre-determined list of options? The actual amount can be converted in the code so that if max.requests equals 0, then 25 items are harvested from via Fedora, or 100 via OAI-PMH. dye [#355] new (index file in apache for fascinator-demo.com) dye [#460] new Make it so you can harvester that just keeps running dye, octalina, lucido, dickinso, sefton [#485] new Let's sit down and work out a look and feel for mobile devices lucido [#356] new Add option to delete an existing harvest to List.tml lucido [#372] new http://fascinator.usq.edu.au/trac/wiki/tf2/DeveloperNotes/plugin-api lucido [#407] new (Organise Policy servers - dev/acc/pro) lucido [#421] new * Consist of a list of files that are failed during harvesting and reasons * Consist of a list of successfully harvested file Add a link/button in the portal to show the last harvest log lucido [#444] closed (Update backup interface) lucido [#450] closed * Using ajax callback? lucido [#457] assigned Happened with an XLS & ODS file lucido [#461] new Save the URLs previously blogged to so user doesn't have to type each time lucido [#462] closed (Radio buttons to choose between free text and title search) lucido [#463] closed (Auto-complete on title search) lucido [#464] new (Test phrase searching) lucido [#465] closed (Show title and policy type facets on home page) lucido [#466] closed * Only Title and Policy Type to be standard * Advanced section default to open, facets inside default to closed lucido [#467] closed * CSS3 has the overflow-x property * Need to make sure it works in IE7 lucido [#468] closed Currently facets stick through and can cause confusing results lucido [#469] assigned Currently we use the full path to the files, should use just the file name or title if possible. lucido [#470] closed On Firefox the right table border disappears when zooming to a particular size. All PDF's associated with an object are named [Untitled] Please see image file attached. lucido [#162] new Linda is adding metadata like Embargo dates, we need to index these. So rules file needs amending. Oh and when an item is added to TF, a data item noting the date added to TF has to be created. So that we can calculate when an embargo is "up" lucido [#163] new this is so ePrints can poll TF for unembargoed items and grab them. lucido [#387] new Update embargoed item in The Fascinator via Atom Feed from ice #6727 lucido [#435] new For starters I want to say that I was delighted to stumble upon this project. I'm putting together a prototype of a long-term repository for exclusively born-digital content and did not want to piece together too many parts. A complete stack that included a portal service with faceted searching, which was based on the latest version of Fedora seemed too good to be true! Now to my issue(s). I've done a "plain vanilla" install of The Fascinator stack on two different Ubuntu instances (9.04 and 9.10) and, most recently, on OS X 10.6.1. I beat my head against a wall trying to figure out why Solr wouldn't start on any of these platforms. It was clear that solrconfig.xml wasn't being found and every attempt to set $SOLR_HOME failed or was ineffectual. I finally found the Developer Installation Instructions on the Wiki and created the 'the-fascinator.sh' script that exports the right CATALINA_OPTS and suddenly things seemed to be working better. At least Solr starts on both Ubuntu and OS X. Now I've bumped into two new issues. On OS X, every time the indexer catches an event from Fedora when I ingest new content, my JVM dies after running out of heap (PermGen) space. I've upped the min size to 256m but thus far have left the max at 512 (in the JAVA_OPTS arg string in the aforementioned start script). I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this and has experimented with higher settings? On Ubuntu, I see the the message '[WARN:SolrIndexer] Indexer properties not found, object not indexed' in catalina.out after a new object is created. I'll really appreciate any help or suggestions from the group. Thanks, Jeff -
